Faith & Freedom Ministry
Statement of Faith
The Faith & Freedom Ministry of Texas Prisons Alliance is founded on the belief that true freedom is found in Jesus Christ, and that His grace, love, and redemption are available to all people, inside and outside prison walls. We affirm the following core beliefs:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, given for teaching, correction, and equipping in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
God
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atonement for our sins, rose from the dead, and now sits at the right hand of God as Lord and Savior (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works—bringing forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope (Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in believers, empowering them to live transformed lives, bear spiritual fruit, and serve others with boldness and love (Galatians 5:22 23; Acts 1:8).
The Church
We believe in the global Body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to unity, discipleship, and service to one another and to the world (1 Corinthians 12:12–13).
Hope for the Incarcerated
We believe that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Through faith in Christ, hearts and lives can be restored, and every person can find freedom and hope behind prison walls (John 8:36; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
At Texas Prisons Alliance Faith & Freedom Ministry, we believe in finding inspiration at every turn—even behind prison walls. Through heartfelt outreach, we walk alongside incarcerated individuals to share hope, healing, and the transformative power of faith. Every visit is a reminder that redemption is always possible, and no life is too far gone to be renewed.
